Tenshi- watch Ikea for me. He shouldn't be hard to care for, just play with him when he asks, pet him and feed him twice a day. I shouldn't be gone for very long. Thanks in advance, I owe you coffee or lunch.
I guess this is just another form of work. Right. If anyone needs me, I won't be here. I've got something I need to do. Pearl, do you want to come along? I'm preparing to leave now, but don't feel rushed. You'll need a jacket and a good pair of walking shoes for this.

Hm.. That'll be enough of a gift, I think.
Ikea's found that he enjoys eating snow! And by "eating" I mean getting it stuck to his face. He looks like an old man- Old Man Ikea, I should get him a custom knitted scarf with that on it. My trip home went well (that'd be why I've been so quiet) and Slim and Wadsworth now have a spiffy gingerbread house for their tank.
Speaking of gingerbread, I'm going to make some! :D |

This show- "Hoarders"- is really depressing. And coming from me, that says something. I'm usually not depressed, but this show is really helping me get there. :(

Ikea's turkey induced coma finally wore off. Nothing drives the point home that your cat's awake like that cat pouncing onto your feet. Luckily he didn't damage anything in the landing, but a little warning would've been nice.
Hm. I guess I should do that before I forget.. Where's my hat? |

You know what tonight really needs? Hot cocoa. Tenshi, you want any? I was going to make a pot of it anyway, instead of just an individual mug. I could even go see if there's anything to go with it, like cake or something. Ikea ke- eeps nudging my hand here, so it'll be a little while. He obviously wants to play a little. Silly cat. <3

Or "did go", since I went earlier and found my costume. It's going to be something trying to corkscrew curl my hair, but I should be able to handle it. Ikea's going as a captain, and he actually seemed pretty happy about the idea. He was strutting around, at least.

If I've learned one thing over my time, it's that random carousel music can either be creepy or oddly entertaining. To Bradbury, they were apparently creepy enough to put into his book Something wicked this way Comes, but that was a different carousel. Most of them don't let you rewind time and become younger, or go forward and die quicker.
Luckily, nobody's been able to make that happen. It'd be a lot of extra work, and the universe doesn't operate that way regardless of the thing being built.
And with that random bit of knowledge, I'm going to collect Ikea and go watch some tv for a while. He could stand the break between the rounds of "Ask Tele a question every 5 minutes but then ignore her when she goes to answer". :p |

I shouldn't be that surprised that he feels like meeting, but I am, since it's been a few years (to put it lightly :p). I guess I'll put on one of my fancier hats and head out. Tenshi, can you watch Ikea for me while I'm gone? I'd take him with me, but it's easier to introduce him to people I know gradually.

Ikea's off exploring.. It's good he's readapted to being here, really.
Maybe I'll go exploring for a bit. Not like there's nothing new here, but it can't hurt anything.

And it's started. By the time Halloween gets here, it'll be a lot more noticeable. Right now it's more like listening to a song through a tin can.
As long as nobody tries singing the White Zombie cover of "I'm your boogieman", I think things will be fine.

"Mary Poppins" will probably never stop being fun. Even though I usually get "Step in Time" stuck in my head, and Ikea's still not sure what to make about the whole thing. Poor cat. He'll survive, though. |

Huh.. Well, not sure why I'm back here of all places; but it's not a bad place to be. And my account's even still around! Peachy keen, that saves me having to sign up for another one. :D Ikea's grown into a pretty healthy cat, and Slim and Wadsworth are currently holding down the fort at home. They were told not to have any crazy parties, but I doubt they'll listen. Make your own joke about party animals here.
Anyway, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Death. Or Tele, if you want to call me that instead. This place seems to have a lot more people than it did the last time I was here! I guess I'll go find some coffee. Nothing says "Welcome back to formal education" like java. Except maybe #2 pencils. |

Ikea apparently really likes ice cream. I know because I gave him a little earlier and he hasn't stopped meowing at me for more. :|
What have I created?! :p Between this and the catnip toy I picked up for him, he's on Cloud 9. Slim and Wadsworth also seemed to like the new brand of fish food I picked up. I'll probably switch between the two brands, I only bought this type because it was on sale. |

...I've got work to do. A lot of it. Ikea nearly licked me to death when he saw me.
Death, I'm going to need a horse if you can get one. I should probably be lying down or something, but right now I can't afford to do that. These people need to get where they're going, and a lot of them are late. I should have a leash around here, I think Ikea can ride with me. Slim and Wadsworth seemed happy to see me, too.
